I'm sick of being sick.

So I started out with the flu, and last Wednesday I had a fever and went to the doctor. He gave me cough syrup laced with codine. That was nice the first day. After that, it REALLY started messing with my head. I was all swirly around the edges and my dreams were a little too vivid for comfort. So once my cough went away I stopped taking it. (Ok, before my cough went away, but it went away enough I could sleep at night.)

My flu has now morphed into a lovely sinus infection. So, on twice the amount of ibuprofren that i usually take and a pain killer specifically designed for sinus headaches, I must wait another 2 hours 45 minutes for the clinic to open up and I can go beg for some antibiotics to help me get over this.

I hope everyone is doing well, or at least better than me.
