what happens next

i took this picture in the park by our house. it makes me laugh.

yesterday i taught my class about the glory of external stylesheets. next week i will attempt to get some usability standards into their heads. fonts, navigation... contrast, repetition, alignment, proximity... blah blah blah.

how is everybody else doing? i'm still waiting. i think i will go for a walk today. in my near future i will be expected to walk miles and miles and miles every day. i'd better get used to it.

I am in a fantastic mood.
I close on my house a week from this friday, have friends at work who make me laugh, feel competent at work (and appreciated).
No social life, but I will be buying a pet after I get my own place. I want a cat. Names are narrowed down to Segue and Epiphanie .. depending of course on the look, temperment, and gender of the cat.

Cats scare me! You'll have to put it away when I come to visit. Congrats my love!

I love cats! But me and Jay are both allergic.

How do you pronounce Segue?

Congrats on the house. I'm glad you're happy.

heh, i totally spelled segue with a q instead of the rightful g. weird.

anyway... you pronounce segue like so:

seg-way.

as in a transition or change from one topic to another.

Spencer and I finally agreed on a name for our future puppy: Demarrah. As in Stefano Demarrah, the villan on Days of Our Lives. He likes it for it's villanishness and I like it because I will call HER Demi, which means "small" in ballet speak.

I would LOVE to get a dog, but dogs go crazy if you leave them for too long and I will be gone most of the day because of work
I want my cat to be either brown and stripey, or black.
