Dreams of French Toast
So,
Tomorrow, I close on my house. I'm spendng this weekend moving in. I still have almost no furniture. I'm borrowing a bed, I have a coffee table, I have a vanity, I have an ugly end table and .... oh wait, that's it.
I was thinking of throwing a house warming party *after* it was more furnished. When works for everybody? Maybe not everybody wants to come, but let me know when is a good time so I can schedule it.

Aren't house-warming parties to get gifts for the new house? Well, Jay and I won't be coming up until
the second week of August. I hope we can stop by. I miss you, Hollie. It's been a year since I've seen you. . . .
I think technically a house warming party is to get gifts ... but that seems very materialistic and greedy to me.
I'm not big into buying me stuff anyway. I'd rather throw a party just to celebrate and see my friends.
